TaLoad Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use TaLoad, we may collect account and identity information (such as name, email, @username and authentication provider); profile information (such as biography, location, categories, links, services and profile image); videos, thumbnails, captions, transcripts and other uploaded content; booking and interaction information; messages or feedback sent to TaLoad; reports, blocks, appeals and moderation records; device, browser, security, log and approximate network information; analytics and cookie choices; and records showing when you accepted legal terms or gave another consent.
If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, TaLoad receives the identity information permitted by that provider, normally including a verified email address and basic profile information. TaLoad does not keep provider access tokens for public sign-in after authentication is completed.
2. How we use personal data and our lawful bases
We use personal data to create and secure accounts; provide profiles, video hosting, discovery and booking features; process uploads; operate moderation and safety controls; communicate about accounts and bookings; prevent fraud and abuse; measure and improve the Service; comply with law; establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and, where enabled, provide analytics or marketing measurement.
Depending on the activity, our lawful basis under UK data protection law may be performance of a contract, legitimate interests (for example operating, securing and improving the Service), compliance with a legal obligation, or consent (for example certain non-essential analytics or marketing technologies). Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it for the future.
3. Public profiles and discoverability
Approved public profiles and videos may be visible to anyone and may be indexed, cached, linked, shared or processed by search engines, social platforms and AI-assisted discovery systems. Public information may therefore remain temporarily available in third-party caches after you change or remove it. Keep private information out of fields intended for public display.
4. Bookings and third-party services
If you use booking or calendar features, TaLoad may process booking identifiers, account links, appointment details and status information. Where a creator uses Calendly, Cal.com, Microsoft Bookings, Google Calendar, Outlook or another connected service, that provider may separately process information under its own privacy terms. TaLoad may store internal references needed to keep the booking connected to the relevant account and creator.
5. Microsoft 365 Contacts and operational records
Where the site administrator enables Microsoft 365 Contacts synchronisation, TaLoad may create or update a contact in the administrator's connected Outlook/Microsoft 365 contacts for account administration. That contact may include your name, email, TaLoad handle/profile link, account status and a legal-acceptance evidence block recording the acceptance date, document versions and cryptographic hashes. The exact accepted document snapshot is also retained by TaLoad as account evidence.
6. Analytics, cookies and similar technologies
TaLoad may use strictly necessary storage for sign-in, security, preferences and core functions. Non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are used only in accordance with the site's configured consent controls and applicable law. Where available, you can change your analytics choice through the consent controls. Browser-level signals such as Do Not Track may also be respected where the site configuration enables them.
7. Who we share data with
We may share personal data with service providers that help operate TaLoad, such as hosting, content delivery, video processing, email, security, analytics, cloud storage, booking/calendar and automation providers; with another user where necessary to complete an interaction or booking; with professional advisers; with authorities or rights holders where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety; and with a buyer or successor in connection with a genuine corporate transaction.
We do not give advertisers access to private TaLoad account conversations merely because they advertise elsewhere, and we do not sell personal data as a standalone data-broker product.
8. International transfers
Some service providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use an available lawful mechanism such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement/Addendum or another permitted safeguard, together with supplementary measures where appropriate.
9. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including account operation, legal obligations, safety, fraud prevention and disputes. Public content is normally retained while your account/content remains active. Security and audit records may be retained for a reasonable period after an event. Booking-account links and analytics identity links follow the retention periods configured by the administrator. Consent and legal-acceptance evidence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance and resolve disputes.
10. Security
We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data, including access controls, role restrictions, secure authentication flows, hashing of certain evidence fields, rate limiting and provider security controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a strong unique password and protect your devices.
11. Your rights
Subject to applicable law and exemptions, you may have rights to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, receive certain data in a portable form, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or another competent supervisory authority.

12. Children
TaLoad account creation is intended for people aged 18 and over. If we reasonably believe an account holder does not meet the minimum age, we may restrict or close the account and take appropriate safeguarding steps. Public content can still be viewed without an account unless access controls state otherwise.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as TaLoad changes or legal requirements develop. The current effective date and version are shown at the top of the page. Material changes may be highlighted through the Service or by email where appropriate.
